THE RESULTS
after the revolution, Russia exited WWI by signing a peace treaty with Germany called the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk. The new government took control of all industry and moved the Russian economy from a rural one to an industrial one. It also seized farmland from landholders and distributed it among the peasants. Women were given equal rights to those of men and religion was banned from many aspects of society.
From 1918 to 1920, after Russia experienced a civil war between the Bolsheviks and the anti- Bolsheviks ( white and red) the bolsheviks won and the new country was called the USSR standing for United Soviet Socialist Republic

POSITIVE OUTCOME
The russian revolution of 1917 had many negative outcomes, but it also had some positive outcomes. One positive outcome is that the Tsar rule comes to an end and gives say to the workers and peasants. This is also a negative effect because communism replaces Tsar's rule. After the revolution Lenin created free education throughout Russia. Children learned communist ideas but they were still educated about the world.

NEGATIVE OUTCOME
The russian revolution had some positive affects but mostly negative. One negative effect was the spread of communism around the world that was the reason for WWII. Another effect was that 15 million people died after the Bolsheviks and anti-bolsheviks sweep Russia. After the revolution, peoples freedom was lost and people couldn't read, write or say whatever they want. People were also restricted to celebrate religion as religious leaders were murdered and churches were destroyed

MY OPINION

I personally believe that the Russian revolution was a gateway to the greatness of communism. I perceived that the Russian Revolution was shaped by powerful forces from both outside and within. The race to become industrialised was a small stone in the pond. The ripples that emanated from that event escalated to the Bolshevik Revolution. Russian pride would not have been served by anything less.

I think the Russian revolution should also be viewed as a product of the social history of Russia, which was itself very brutal and oppressive. The Russian revolution was a reaction to the abuses and terror that was waged against the population by the Tsars. A reaction to the horrible conditions of WWI, in which over a million Russians lost their lives, and a reaction to  a country that had no stability or history of progressive development. To me The most atrocious and irrelevant part of the Russian revolution was the Dumb Tsar who got associated to WWI which then caused the tragic deaths of  Russians, economical, environmental and political effects on Russia.
